Enhancements to Business Network User Manual URL

With this release, the GEP Business Network user manual available under the Client Page of the Business Network is updated to the newer version.

 

Enhancements to Expired Supplier Registration Notification Link

SN10N-2714 | Configurable: Yes

With this release, the Supplier registration flow is enhanced to meet Infosec requirements while improving Supplier experience.

Key enhancement are:

  • Registration Link Expiry

    • Registration links now expire after 15 days (previously 60 days) to comply with Infosec standards.

  • Self-Service Re-invitation

    • After the link expires, Suppliers can view an enhanced message with the option to request a New Invitation.

    • On clicking, a new registration email is sent to the Supplier contact.

    • If the Supplier has already completed registration, the expired link redirects them to the login page.

Configuration Details:

  • Setting Name: Invitation Retrigger Validity Period (Post Expiry) = N days (N=45).

  • Description: Defines how long after the expiration of the URL, the Suppliers can request a new invitation. Post expiry, the application reverts to show the standard expiry message directing Suppliers to contact the Buyer.

 

Note: The configuration is only meant to define the expiration validity period, which will apply uniformly across all domains. The number of days will also remain the same for all clients, in line with Infosec team guidelines.

Enhancements to My Task Page

With this release, enhanced Business Network- My Task pages to provide accurate counts, better document visibility, and consistent customer naming.

Key enhancements are:

  • Dynamic Count in Header

    • Added a count display in the header section of the My Task screen

  • Supplier Name column in My Task Page

    • Added a new column: Supplier Name (Supplier Company Name/Legal Company Name)

  • Customer Name Consistency

    • Resolved the mismatch in customer names between the Client List and My Task pages.
